TCM views the body as an integrated system. When Qi (vital energy) flows harmoniously, health follows. When it stagnates or scatters, illness arises. The goal of TCM is not simply to treat symptoms but to restore balance to the whole person.
Sifu Claudio is a certified TCM practitioner and acupuncturist, integrating these principles into both his martial arts teaching and his clinical work.
Fine needles inserted at specific points along the body's energy channels (meridians) to unblock or regulate Qi flow. Used for pain, stress, digestive issues, and systemic imbalances.
Burning dried mugwort (Artemisia) near or on acupuncture points to warm the body, expel cold, and invigorate Qi circulation. Particularly effective for chronic conditions and low energy.
Custom formulas of roots, bark, flowers, and minerals prescribed to restore internal balance. Each formula is tailored to the individual's pattern of disharmony – not a standard recipe for a disease name.
Gentle, repeated movements coordinated with breath and intention. Prescribed as "moving medicine" to regulate Qi flow, strengthen the body's natural defenses, and support recovery from injury or illness.
Food is seen as medicine. Sifu Claudio advises on meal composition, cooking methods, and ingredient choices based on the individual's constitution and current condition – warming foods for cold patterns, cooling foods for heat patterns.
Sifu Claudio studied homeopathy and German homotoxicology – a therapeutic approach that views diseases as the body's attempt to eliminate toxins. Using highly diluted plant, mineral, and animal substances, these remedies support the body's self-regulation and detoxification processes. Homotoxicology bridges classical homeopathy with modern concepts of inflammation and chronic illness. It is particularly effective for allergies, autoimmune tendencies, and conditions where conventional medicine offers only symptom management.
• Diagnosis through pulse reading, tongue examination, and detailed health history;

• A treatment plan that may combine several of the above methods;
• Follow-up adjustments based on the body's response;
Sifu Claudio's TCM services are available to:
