Qi Gong (Chi Kung) is the practice of cultivating and circulating vital energy (Qi) through breath, movement, and focused intention.
At Lou Fu Institute, Qi Gong is taught primarily to advanced students as an internal complement to the external power of Choy Lee Fat. It's the bridge between physical conditioning and energetic cultivation.
• Regulates and stores Qi for health and martial power
• Calms the mind and reduces stress
• Improves circulation, immunity, and recovery
• Deepens body awareness and proprioception
Qi Gong is integrated into the training of higher-level students. If you are new to the art, focus first on building your foundations in Kung Fu and Tai Chi. The internal work will open to you in time and you'll feel the benefits on both your health and your martial training.
Although Qi Gong is taught to advanced students within our Kung Fu curriculum, it is also practiced as a standalone health discipline. Qi Gong exercises may be prescribed as part of a holistic treatment plan for specific imbalances. Sifu Claudio is a TCM doctor and can guide you.
