The Internal Counterpart

Tai Chi (Taiji) provides deep relaxation, contributing to martial artist's health and the fluidity of Choy Lee Fat.

Chen style includes weapon training and several self-defense practical applications. Yang style is softer and focused on health.

 

While Kung Fu is considered an external style and Tai Chi an internal style of martial arts, they are not opposites: their practice complement each other.

Tai Chi's soft, flowing movements reduce joint impact, improve blood circulation, and strengthen muscles – making it ideal for injury recovery and quality of life enhancement.

 

Sifu Claudio often instructs his students on Tai Chi's recovery and breathing exercises after exhaustive sessions of Kung Fu and other martial arts.

Flowing to Heal

Tai Chi cultivates internal energy (Qi) that supports health and healing.  It's often appointed by Western doctors as an excellent physiotherapy. Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors recommend its daily practice.
